Here are 4 events you won\u2019t want to miss!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chinese New Year<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

While it may be a bit late to plan a trip for the New Year in London, we can recommend that you experience the Chinese New Year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is the largest celebration outside of Asia and takes place in the city\u2019s Chinatown and West End. The celebration will include a parade, live performances and lots of food markets. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is truly a spectacular event to witness, and a good illustration of how London is one of the world\u2019s most culturally diverse and exciting cities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PPPoker Festival<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

When: January 15\u201319, 2020<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For those who want to embrace their inner James Bond, London is one of the top places in the world to play poker. From January 15 to 19, one of the most prestigious poker festivals in the world gets underway in the city. Cardplayer details how London will be the first destination for PPPoker events<\/a> in 2020 with the tournament taking place at the Aspers Casino in Stratford. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main event will have a $133,481 (C$ 175,307) prize pot with \u201cunlimited re-entries across the four starting flights\u201d. Alongside the poker tournament, there is also the Players\u2019 Party, which will feature top DJs and lots of live entertainment. For a truly unique experience in London, this is a must-try.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

London International Mime Festival<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

When: January 29 – 31, 2021<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

London<\/a> News Online reports that this festival runs the gamut of contemporary visual performance, which includes live art, puppetry, physical and circus-theater, movement and object theater, and masked performances. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was founded way back in 1977, making it the longest-running festival of its kind. This 2021 it will feature 10 overseas theater companies, plus 8 of the UK’s finest groups. It will be headlined by “a triple-bill of silent movie classics with live jazz accompaniment.” Experiencing this festival is a great way to get your fill of a lesser-known area of culture, so do check it out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fashion Week<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
