CancΓΊn

Basically my first time in Mexico, which is sad for a California born and raised...but like they say..better late than never. My father had a friend that owned a timeshare out in Cancun and asked if we wanted to tag along for an impromptu family vacation. Brent and I jumped at the opportunity and spent 4 days in Mexico.

Cancun itself is not so great, I don't care for the strip full of resort after resort..but the surrounding areas are the Mexico I wish to discover more of. Parts of it had remnants of Southeast Asia and had us feeling pretty nostalgic.

The water is incredibly blue, the air was so humid it would fog up the lenses of my camera, the people we're absolutely lovely and the food was incredible. I ate the BEST mole in Cancun...wow.
