What a drive!! \240We left at 9am and got here at 6pm. \240We did make several stops though. \240We stopped by Walgreens then got yummy Chick-fil-a for breakfast. \240Since I was in a fender bender (not my fault thankfully) a week ago, we are in a rental car. \240It’s pretty nice - a 2020 Nissan Pathfinder, fully loaded. \240We used the in-car navigation and it took us through backroads for half of the trip...so annoying!! \240We got back on track in Atlanta though. \240We listened to audiobooks, Sirius xm radio, and even played the alphabet game - Josh won!

Finally, we arrived and the beach is gorgeous. \240Our condo is so nice and the views can’t be beat.

We decided to go out for dinner and went to Los Antojito’s Mexican restaurant and it was delish!! Highly recommend the Mexican Street Corn 🌽

Josh did not want pictures taken, but he’s still so cute ❤️

Outdoor area was packed!! \240No COVID worries here! \240We are inside and social distanced- only 2 other tables in our Now back to the condo for much needed sleep 😴

I woke up at 6:20am CST. \240This was the amazing view from our balcony ❤️.

Walk on the beach was activity #1. \240The sand is gorgeous and all white, but difficult to walk on. \240You’re feet sink down pretty far. \240

My views while walking...

Now I’m back on the patio, reading my book and listening to the song of the sea 🌊. \240Josh has been up and snacking and checking out the views. \240He just got back in the bed and is trying to get a little more shut eye, before the day starts. \240

We went down to the pool for a few hours this morning. \240It was 80 and sunny, perfect weather. \240☀️

The pool water was a bit chilly though lol. \240

We sat outside and the breeze was wonderful. \240

Josh ordered a seafood soup, of course. \240

Dinner at Runaway Island Restaurant. \240Very good meal! \240Pecan crusted grouper for me and Blackened Mahi Mahi Tacos for Josh. \240Yum 😋

The day started off with a call from Janine. \240Sarah Yucha forgot time submit her LLR license application. \240Her CFY license expires on 5/28. \240We had to have a conference call and then she had to email the form so I could sign. \240To do that, I had to find a UPS store to print the form, then scan and email back to her. \240What a headache, but at least I got it done. \240Now hopefully no more work for the week. \240

Josh and I headed out to the beach for the morning. \240He took a walk and I laid out. \240We met 3 ladies from ATL who were very friendly. \240It was an overcast day for the most part. \240

We came in and went to Pier Park for some lunch at New York Pizza. \240Amazing calzones! \240

Then we went to the I Love Candy Shop and loaded up on sugary treats. \240Amazingly, they had a Harry Potter 1000 piece puzzle of Hogwarts. \240I am now sorting through the end pieces 😊

Suoer relaxing evening - cooked hamburgers and ate on the patio with the sun setting right in front of us ❤️

We drive to Destin today. \240Boy, is it nice! \240If we ever vacation on the gulf shores we will stay in the Destin area (Sandestin, Miramar, Destin). \240

We had lunch at McGuires - soooo good!!

Then we headed home and went to the pool. \24082 degrees and sunny, perfect weather!!

We tried to catch the sunset, but were just a few minutes too late. \240We took a walk instead ❤️

We started off the day trying to go to Thomas’s donuts and the line was soooooo long that we opted for Another Broken Egg instead. \240Brunch was good! \240Then out to the beach. \240Gorgeous day and the crowd has really picked up. \240

Remembering when mom and I went parasailing in Key West!!

Josh actually got in the water - I joined him too!
