After Rob was in CA for 2 weeks taking care of his dad and I was taking care of the boys on my own for two weeks, we were both ready for this getaway! Rob was exhausted since he flew home just the day before with my parents and had an early flight on Saturday morning!

We woke up at 3:30 am to catch our 5:15 am flight to Miami ๐Ÿ˜ด

We landed around 7:15 am and after we got our rental car, drove to Green Street Cafe for breakfast (The coconut crusted French toast was amazing!)

After breakfast, we drove up to Orlando and got some groceries before checking in to our room at the Marriott Vacation Club Harbor Lake. After a quick nap, we went to Epcot and had a wonderful time eating our way through the countries during Food and Wine. But it was cold! 54 degrees! It was a great first day ๐Ÿ˜Š

We slept in (yay!) and Rob hit the gym while I worked in the room. We went to BJโ€™s for lunch (and my birthday pizookie) and then hit the outlet mall and Disney Springs.

Then we went to the Magic Kingdom (around 5:00 pm) where we got an amazing parking spot and caught the monorail right away. A great start to the night! We went on Splash Mountain, Space Mountain and the Haunted Mansion. It was a beautiful night!

After taking off around 8:00 pm, we stopped by Sweet Tomatoes for dinner and then went back to our hotel.

I had an awesome birthday! Rob served me breakfast in bed while I worked. Then we went to Epcot for a Food and Wine lunch and rode on the Frozen ride (it was so painful!) We came back and took a well deserved nap ๐Ÿ˜Š Then we hit the hotelโ€™s jacuzzi (it is our favorite! It was so big!) Then we got cleaned up and headed out for the IAAPA event at Universalโ€™s Island of Adventure!
