1
East Falls

Simon the Sheep starts off his Oregon Eclipse adventure in the cargo net with his buddy, the fox. The fox was discovered at the last Walmart before the Eclipse Festival in Canada in 2014 and was looking forward to another party.

2
Willow Grove

I reset the trip odometer when Simon and I stopped to pick up Elph.

3
Wendy Park

We encountered a torrential downpour setting visibility to nil so we pulled off the road for a bit.

When the rain passed we found ourselves in an extension of little waterfront parks.

There was even a little lighthouse off in the distance.

Unfortunately this little detour was also exposure to medical waste on the shore, although we didn't take any pictures of all the hypodermic needles and debris we came across.

4
Jack Flaps

We stop for our first real meal on our trip was brunch at Jack Flaps in Cleveland, Ohio.

Simon and Elph share an embrace when they get out of the car. Food at long last!

Simon and Elph through the windshield under shadows:

Blowing off steam waiting for the food to arrive, I look for an obligatory Snapchat filter:

And of course we mustn't forget Instagram:

Simon enjoyed the root veggie hash:

5
Badlands National Park

At this point in the journey Simon stops to pick up a National Parks pass for an outdoor adventure.

Simon encounters his first cacti in the Badlands.

6
Keystone

Cruising around Keystone surounded by thousands of bikers headed to Sturges, Montana.

Keep an eye out on the right hand side for a shot at immense lot of motorcycles as we descend down the hill;

More motorcycles:

Finally we head through a little tunnel back on to the highway where all of us are happy to pick up speed again--including the bikers.

7
Yellowstone National Park

Listening to Jossie Telch as we head out of Yellowstone.

8
Butteville Cemetery
9
Multnomah Falls

I specifically chose this route home so that Val could see Multnomah Falls. \240There was a major wildfire burning here shortly after we left.

10
Arches National Park

Denver
12
Goodland

We had a dinner picnic here. There were so many dragonflies. It was a pretty and peaceful place.

World's Largest Wind Chime

The world's largest chair in Casey, Illinois.

And the world's largest pitchfork:

And then there was the world's largest wind chime, too:
