Belfast

This was an early morning, we had to be at the bus stop by 7am to take our day trip to Northern Ireland. Some people call it Northern Ireland but it’s actually considered the UK so others call it that. It took about 2 hour to get to Belfast, once we got here we did a taxi tour. We road in a taxi with someone who grew up in Belfast and he told us all of this experiences he had to go through while the recession occurred there. It’s crazy what they had to go through and how many people died. There is memorials around the city everywhere. He also mentioned that he thought it was happening around the entire world because technology wasn’t a thing so the only stuff they heard was what their neighbors were talking about. When he was 4 years old he got shot in the next from just playing out on the street. We went to a peace wall and got to sign our names on there! After Belfast we headed towards the ocean and got to stop at an overview (so pretty)! Then we went to the rope bridge, it was build 170 years ago. To get to the bridge we had to hike about a mile with lots of stairs and hills. Then once you get there you cross the swinging bridge and stay over there to take a few pictures then walk back over. It gets really windy up there and rains off and on almost everyday so we got soaked. If the wind in 35 mph they have to close the bridge because it’s dangerous to go on. After the bridge we went to Giants Causeway. We first ate lunch at the hotel there. Then headed down to giants causeway, where there are so many rocks right off the ocean- was SUPER PRETTT!! Then we headed back to Dublin and went out with our California friends again at another pub. All the pubs have live music and it is amazing!!! Also we got an Irish cider called Bulmers- also amazing!
