2022 has been quite a ride. A lot of stresses, but quite a few amazing things.

Missy came into our lives in January. Who knew that such a lovable Yorkie mix was what we needed. Perfect fit into our world - thankfully she was not a puppy but midddle aged like us.

Diane turned 60, Isabelle was born, Natalie and Joe got married, Cassie and Marcus got engaged.

My family, try as we might, is drifting apart. Became estranged from my brother, but strengthened my bond with my mom and my sons. My mom continues to be a vibrant and very busy person.

We both got new cars - 2022 Murano for me and 2022 Volkswagen Atlas CrossFit for Diane.

We bought and remodeled our Timberwood house and sold our townhouse, the Glenwood property and moved to the country. A bit of an adjustment, but am settled in and enjoying our new house. Glad most of the remodeling happened before we moved in.

We lost our dear friend Carolyn, Amber and Gary’s oldest nephew and Annabelle’s mom and dad. Katherine is battling kidney cancer and remains positive although it is spreading.

Stuck close to home this year more than normal - quite a few Texas trips.

Maintained our health except for our first time with COVID. Gary and Jordan and their families are doing well. Gary continues to struggle with his back pain.

Losing the batttle of weight and excessive drinking, but intend to make that my first priority in 2023.
