“Let’s Go Crazy” for Prince

The Dave Chapelle Show skit immediately popped into my

During the first part of the tour were shown The Atrium/Living Room (It was filled with sunlight☀️ and purple paisley tapestries, purple velvet couches) and his dining area (where he would serve his famous pancakes during his impromptu \240after-parties), and various themed rooms based on various points of his career. These rooms were filled with outfits, guitars, and handwritten notes or lyrics.

Then we were shown his favorite recording studio where he created thousands of recordings it was estimated that he created a song everyday. We won't hear most of those songs but his estate is releasing one of his completed albums on July 29, 2021.

We listened to the track “Born 2 Die”

This album is filled with social commentary about the role that social media plays in our lives.

We then went into a room that was once Prince’s basketball court.

The Dave Chapelle Show skit immediately popped into my head.

Snickers is his favorite snack and he had a candy machine he brought on tour with him.

The Next Room was SHOES 👠

It was truly spectacular 🌟

Each shoe was hand made and Prince was involved in each process.

His heels were reinforced to withstand the pressure of his extreme dance moves.

The Electric Fetus

Prince’s favorite record store

Prince was a product of a different time, and he embraced it. He enjoyed the rich sound of vinyl records, and it was not unusual to see him spending time in Minneapolis’ famous local record store the Electric Fetus. He was particularly known to support the establishment on Record Store Day.

Science Museum of Minnesota

Science Museum of Minnesota

My sister planned a trip to the Science Museum. She gets me, she really gets me ❤️

The Museum is walking distance from my sisters loft, but it was a tiny day so we drove.

When I saw the huge astronaut, I knew it was going to be a great day.

At the Collectors’ Corner, traders of all ages can bring in the objects they find outdoors. Your trade could be a special rock or crystal, bones from an already-dead animal, leaves or petals, or some other natural object. The more you know about it, the more points you get in return. Those points can be used to trade for objects you can bring home and keep!

The Rock Hard Cafe is part of the Collectors Corner.

This is why everyone should be vaccinated

A visual representation of herd immunity. Notice that when everyone gets a vaccine everyone is safe from the virus. (the sticks are vaccines, the rubber balls are the virus and the LEGO people are the community)

It only takes a few unvaccinated individuals to infect the community.

The more unvaccinated individuals the more likely the community are infected.

At this point the virus is an epidemic.

Julie cheered me on and I was so proud when completed cells of the skin puzzle.

Do you see the single red bead? It represents the amount of the universe we have explored so far.

The red bead is in the middle parallel to the yellow S ( on the left) and the C (on the bottom)

There were so many really cool dinosaurs but I have never seen a Pterodactyl standing they are usually flying.

There were so many things I wanted to take pictures of but my phone died.

As the museum was closing we sneaked into the gift shop. I had to get a special sweatshirt.

And......

I got it!

All I need is some chilly weather ❄️
