The first thing that comes to mind if you want to travel to this city is definitely do not wait until you’re retired to do so. You can see from the video above just how high up the city goes and I walked and climbed my way to that cable car.

But that was nothing compared to getting up to Parc Guell. 😂 OMG is an understatement.

Parc Guell

I’m a frequenter of the metro systems in any given city so I just hopped on the metro to get myself there. Yeah, big mistake! I’m not sure how many miles, yes I said MILES of stairs you have to climb to get up there but it’s a lot. In all I climbed 4.5 miles of stairs that day and most were done here. There was an escalator(s) but they have been demolished.

Anyway I had no idea you could take a taxi/Uber and go straight to the back entrance. Oops! 🤪

Despite all the stairs this city really captivated me. I really loved it and can’t wait to go back someday.
