CHE’s \240been DER in Siargao

Yes! I’ve been in Siargao, Surigao del Norte last month (August 21-26). You know what even in my wildest dream I didn’t imagine myself to be there. Why? Simply because it’s too far and expensive. Wishing to be there is quiet impossible. But God is so good He gave me the opportunity to witness His amazing masterpiece. Let me share to you the story behind this.

Last February, our (with my besties) flight to Cebu was cancelled due to aircraft failure. Cebu Pacific airline gave us free voucher where we can travel (one-way) anywhere in the Philippines except for Batanes. I planned to use it this coming Christmas break because plane tickets during peak season are too expensive but we have to use the free voucher within 100days so we decided to use in Siargao. Why Siargao? Just to make the most of it 😉 next to Batanes(with expensive plane ticket)is Siargao.

Our returned ticket cost 5k thanks to the mid year bonus 😅

Only the two of us went to Siargao, our other friends didn’t make it due to busy schedules and some other reasons.

I’ll share to you our itinerary, expenses and pictures.

Day 01

On board ☺️ I was super duper excited for this trip.

Around 1pm was our departure time. More or less we were 40 passengers on this plane and half were foreigners.

Bye Manila 👋

Around 3pm we arrived at Sayak airport and almost 1hr travel (by van) from the airport to General Luna. The fare was 200 pesos per person.

Welcome to Isla de Las Palmas \240🌴 🌴🌴

Tip:

Better to book your accommodation before going to Siargao. Especially during peak season.

Yes, there are lots of hostel, dormitories and homestay in General Luna but too hassle especially if you have your heavy backpacks with you. Learn from our mistake😉

We stayed at Dream Catcher Nipas

One nipa room was 850 pesos per night and its good for 2pax. It has 2foams, 2 pillows, 2 blankets, 2 bath towels, 2 outlets, 1 electric fan, 1 hanger and a dream catcher 😅

Ops \240there’s free coffee too but no free breakfast 😅

We rest for awhile, took photos, ate late lunch and we went to Cloud 9 Beach Resort to catch the sunset 🌅

Sad to say, the clouds were gloomy. We had a short pictorial on it’s famous boardwalk.

We went back to our accommodation and bought bbq and got some rest.

At 9:00pm we went to
