Williams

Today, at 9:15, our vacation officially began. Gingin and I “evenly” split up our candy for the ride, and then took some departure photos:

We stopped on Echo Park Ave. to say goodbye to Carty, who was filming it for the documentary. Just now, we passed the exit to Silverwood Lake, where the Treehouse goes every year to bike.

Then, I watched 2 episodes of The Baby-Sitters Club on Netflix, while Gingin watched Victorious, then we switched.

Then the craziest thing happened! When we stopped to get lunch, and mom was making sandwiches, I noticed that there was water running from the bathroom! Dad opened the door and we realized that the toilet overflowed! Dad tried to fix it... I can’t exactly say he succeeded...

We are back on the road now, and here are some landscape pictures:

Oops, not exactly a landscape photo🤫😜🍩

Santa Fe Skies RV Park

Today we left around 9:15, and headed out of Williams, AZ towards Santa Fe, New Mexico. We JUST stopped for lunch and there is the most amazing view at Lacey Point.

We drove through the Petrified Forest National Park and we took THE MOST AMAZING PHOTOS (sorry, I forgot to crop out the dashboard and mirrors)

I forgot to mention it yesterday but on the way to the RV park, it started to RAIN! In Arizona! In the middle of the summer!!!

I thought these looked a bit like tornadoes.

3:15 PM

We crossed the border between Arizona and New Mexico about 20 minutes ago. There are the most amazing rocks/cliffs! (They’re a little blurry, they were far away)

Today we drove out of Santa Fe towards Texas.

Today we ordered Subway for lunch 🥪, but when we werewaiting in line to get gas ⛽️ next door, the guy in front of us (with a bowl cut💇🏻🤢😬) took FOREVER. When we finally got our sandwiches, it was 1:00.

When we arrived and it started to get dark, we noticed the sky getting ☁️cloudy☁️ and then we saw some⚡️lightning!⛈

⬆️This one I edited a bit⛈⛈

Here are some photos from Santa Fe I forgot to include.

The ants are stealing our 🥭mango🥭 !!!

This is a screenshot from a stargazing app on my dad’s phone. It identifies the 🌌constellations🌌 (it’s called Star Walk)

Look closely to see a rainbow!🌈🌈
