Arrived Costa Rica SJO airport. Going through customs. Airport had luxury cosmetics after customs then car rental facilities and tons of taxi drivers waiting to take you to your destination.
Driving through San Jose Costa Rica. Lots of one way streets. Many people driving little motorcycles.
Highway to the city of San Jose, Costa Rica.
Stopped to have breakfast at a restaurant in San Jose referred by the car rental rep.
Restaurant was cute and located on a corner across from the Costa Rica historical museum.
Coffee was great! Didn’t need any creamer and only a little sugar!
Our food was delicious! Tico breakfast!

Our drive to our hotel called Awa was a long drive through the rainforest, two lane roads, one way “sketchy” bridges and through many different towns with rain pouring off and on and humid!
Passed a lot of farmland throughout Costa Rica. Everything so green!
Many bridges over little rivers to the Pacific Ocean.
We got to our hotel 4-5 hours later! But wow was it worth it! Completely on the beach and in the jungle!
