1
Escambia Bay

We cross over into Florida for Tallahassee.

2
Ponce De Leon

There is something wonderful about Palm Trees. \240I just like they way they look!

3
Alfred B. Maclay Gardens State Park

The Maclay Gardens is a natural park in the center of Tallahassee. \240The park is full of oaks, magnolias, gumtrees and palms, all adorned with spanish moss.

Originally the Killearn Plantation, the family Maclay donated the land and existing buildings to the State. \240

While walking the dogs, we wondered if the park had alligators. \240Eventually, we came upon this sign, which answered our question.

The palms grow abundantly under the tall oaks. \240

4
St. George Island

After a 15 mile bridge from the mainland to this island, the first thing you come to is this lighthouse. \240Beautiful ocean on the other side.

Ozzie is so happy to scratch his back on the grass, and Dashie was equally as happy to lay in the sun-baked sand.

The island, a long stretch of a berm, has seashells everywhere. \240We stand with our toes in the surf, and more shells appear. \240I picked up some beauties for my Mom.

Our selfie attempt. \240The boys were not accomodating.

Seashells in the foreground and the boys anxious to get off leash, but I really took the photo because of Jim's worship of the sea.

I walked along the rising tide, which would splash over my feet and drain back into the ocean at the lowest point.

Pelicans, seagulls and pipers are constant companions.
