Newly renovated Heidel House Resort- much better than the old and tired look when John and I had been there.
Another lobby view.
Birthday well wishes and cake for each of us- compliments of the hotel!

Looking for ghosts (or trouble) not sure! This was an old I imagine small storage shed right near the water and to our surprise the door was actually open, but alas, nothing spooky just used as storage now. We had just assumed it would’ve been boarded up or locked up.
We continued to walk around the property and came across what they called the presidents quarters or something like that. It looked a little in disrepair currently used as storage, but looks like it could make a great event. Space don’t have a picture. It was too dark.
Bartender (kid..lol) crafting us a delicious cocktail with strained egg white- ooo laaa laaa - fancy.
TA-da! Final product. Was a bourbon citrusy based cocktail. ….
A cocktail that we shared lol!
Guess I didn’t take a picture of our dinner- I’m shocked!! We had 2 apps- shrimp and a Brie cheese crostini w honey thing- both were really good! Shrimp was a spicy yummy marinated thing.
AAAND now it’s late….time for silly pics. We watched some of Ed Gein documentary in the room- well- some of us tried too……may have fell asleep….
One last pic before turning in! Fun times!
