It was SO sweet to sleep until 7. Hooray for Felicity!!!

Our apartment is very comfortable. We went straight out across the Danube. It was a cool morning. The first cool morning that we’ve had in over a month. It was so refreshing!

We took the funicular up to Buda castle and wandered around for thirty minutes (while Andrew was mean to Gabriel so I got mad at Andrew - not our favorite morning). Then we went to the Frieda exhibit at the art museum in Buda Castle.

Then we went to a park. Then the Ferris wheel that Gabriel really wanted to go on :)

Then we went to a Hungarian restaurant for lunch. Felicity was crazy about the fois grais!

Then during naptime I went to the Gellert spa. It was AMAZING. I got a nice massage and then tried swimming in all the pools. The outdoor pool was very fun to swim in because it had a wave machine. Everyone young and old was screaming with delight :)

I walked back along a nice shopping street. When I got home Felicity and Gabriel were just waking up. We played at the apartment for a bit, then headed out along the sand shopping streeet in search of dinner. We wound up at a place where you ordered from a computer in the table. Gabriel and Felicity loved it. Felicity and I did a little salad shaking dance. It was fun :)

Another great night of sleep. Gabriel woke up at 6:45 and Felicity 7. Amazing!

We packed up and headed to our “napping hotel” right next to the train station. Then I said goodbye to my Sweet Family and headed across town to meet with Andras. It was a nice meeting. A nice graduate student and young professor interested in T2 trees joined us. Unfortunately, Andras offered me an espresso, so I was super wired, then I crashed and had to stifle lots of yawns. I haven’t had much caffeine at all on this trip! He took me to lunch at a cafeteria on campus. He made sure to enter the restaurant first as us the custom here (I guess the man is supposed to check that everything is safe :)

I found a tea shop and stopped for a bit of chamomile. I had so many emails to get caught up on!

Then I walked back to our napping apartment. Stopped at a grocery store for snacks and water for the train.

Then we headed out for the station. I was very glad to get actual tickets and to confirm that we had a sleeping car.

We went out of the train station to a kebab place. Then came back and our train was waiting for us. The cabin is extremely small for four people! But Gabriel and Felicity love it :)

It’s almost 11 and the train has been stopped for a bit. We just heard a knock at the door and when I opened it the passport guy was there. He asked me to step out which freaked me out, but I think he was just trying not to disturb Gabriel and Felicity. Hope we can go soon so we can be lulled to sleep by the train!

I’m reading Dracula :)
