Before rolling out of NJ on my way south, needed to relocate the spare tire from the rear bumper to the cross member near the coupler. Went to Crum's Custom Welding in Bloomingdale, NJ. What a great guy! He did the job for $20 and we jawed about my decision to travel the country as part of my job. If you need anything welded, he's the one to see.

Received the final package of travel items I'll be needing for my trip. Most were from Amazon and trailer supply companies. This one was from Verizon.
My new 5G mobile hotspot with unlimited data. It will allow me to be online from nearly anywhere I travel and besides allowing me to work day and night, I'll now be able to stream movies and TV programming to the television in the camper. I'm now road ready. Departure is t-minus 23 hours, and counting.

Logged 475 miles today and am in Weldon, NC for the night. Boondocking at Weldon Mills Distillery. They're part of the "Harvest Hosts" network of wineries, breweries and distilleries that graciously allow campers to park overnight.
In appreciation, campers are asked to purchase something from the gift shop or tasting room so it's a win-win. They definitely made out on my stay as I purchased two bottles of some pretty amazing bourbon made right here at their facility which is an old corn mill.
They've been in business for just three years but they're already winning major awards:
So after a long drive, day 1 of my Wanderlust Life adventure concluded with a perfect \24075° evening relaxing with a Montecristo cigar, a quality glass of local bourbon and an inspiring sunset.

Debellation Brewing Company
Part roadhouse, part microbrewery, Debellation is my kind of place. The owner, David, is an awesome host. His passion for this special roadside brewery is beyond evident. The selection of local beers is vast and extraordinary. The atmosphere is casual but energetic and the customers are friendly and fun. This is one of those places you definitely want to check out.
As a producer of marketing and branding videos, I was inspired and decided to create a sneak peak you may enjoy checking out.
