Reached London Gatwick airport around 9 am. Did a hike with all our luggage to find the dollar rental to pick up our rental car (seriously the rental place was sooo far)

Had breakfast at home toast, eggs and fruits and started the day a little late. Went on the hop on hop off bus, went to a restaurant called chai roti for lunch. The food was yummy had a lot of Indian street food options like chat, idli sambhar, aloo patties in a bun.. yum yum yum

Started day with breakfast at home. Spent the morning in Natural history museum. Then took the underground and went to Piccadilly square. Walked around the area for a while. Had yummy South Indian early \240dinner at sarvana bhawan. Witnessed a live Christmas karaoke. Headed back to Airbnb. Packed and left to go to Cardiff to arveen Didi’s House.

Started the day with yummy dosa and chutney. Had a relaxed morning at home playing with Didi’s. Had paneer burji and Rajma for lunch. Diya and adults took a nap while the kids made Christmas decorations with white paper.

Drive around Cardiff city in the evening. Saw Cardiff castle from outside, walked around Cardiff bay and had dinner at wagamama.

Got home and Advay and Diya got to open one gift each. Advay got a truck construction toy and Diya got a potty training dolly.. kids went crazy playing with the potty 😜😜. Didi’s got one one gift too.. and we all did lots of masti and nautanki before bed time

Had dal ka paranta for breakfast. Arveen Di’s friend Monica, her sister and their kids came to met us. Kids had a great time playing with all the Didi’s.

Had sambhar Chawla & carrot beans sabji for lunch. Some adults took a short nap while kids and Sidhant masa played scrabble. Some random pics time of Diya and Tashu.

Everyone got dressed. We got some family pics with the Christmas tree. Went to Neha and Prasad’s house for high tea.

Kids set a plate for Santa before bed time.

Yeah it’s Christmas !!! We started the morning with opening gifts.. wow sooo many gifts

Got ready and went to Amrita’s house for Christmas meal. Had a traditional Christmas meal - roasted turkey, stuffing, Brussels sprouts, creamy potatoes, creamy cauliflower, parsnips, Yorkshire pudding, gravy. The Christmas meal was yummy and Christmas table decorations were beautiful. After our meal ofcourse was picture time. We spent most of Christmas Day there and got home pretty late

Went shopping to mcarthur glen outlet mall late morning /early afternoon

Went to Jyoti and Rakesh’s house for dinner. Had a yummy home cooked Xmas meal and played carrom board. Had fruit cream and mango kulfi for dessert

Had a relaxed morning at home. Took kids to Techni Quest (science museum) in the afternoon. Kids had a great time playing around and learning a lot of stuff. We watched a show on the Arctic Circle there.

Then we went for some fun rides at the Cardiff winter wonderland. Followed by a yummy Mediterranean dinner at Lilo’s

Visited the Welch museum at Saint Fagans. Went to Marks and Spencer’s for some quick shopping.

Mamma,papa and masa went to Asda at night for an hour while Advay and Diya did a lot of masti at home with Masi and didi’s

Masa, papa, Advay, Diya and Natasha didi went swimming. While Masi, mumma and Tanisha didi stayed home and cleaned up as visitors were coming in the evening to meet us. Mama and Tanisha did I stepped out to Tesco with Shree aunty for a quick shopping trip.

Shree, Divya, Sukhi, Manjeet and their family came to Masi house to visit us. We ate samosa’s, sweets and aloo paranta. Ofcourse we took lots of pics by the Christmas tree at Masi House 😜😜

Had corn on toast for breakfast. Went to City center to watch Cinderella show (pantomime). Had lunch at pizza express.

Started the last day of the year with Advay jumping off the kitchen counter at Arveen Didi’s house and cut his chin on the counter and was rushed to the emergency room. Luckily it was not too bad. He had a small cut on the chin but was pretty deep and needed some glueing at the emergency room.

Went to Monica’s house for new year eve celebrations

Happy new year🎉🎉. Had a late start on the first day of 2020 as we slept quite late the night before. Jiju made yummy omelettes for brunch.

Sidhant and me spent most of the afternoon packing while kids played with Didi’s.

The evening was full of visitors coming to meet us before we head back to Boston - Manjeet and family, Poonam and family, Ankita and Family, Rajul and Nia, Shallu.

Tried to wrap up early tonight as we all had a early start tomorrow.

Good byes are always hard. Thank you Arveen Masi, Sandeep masa, Tanisha didi and Natasha didi for a lovely time and all the love, care and fun time. We will miss you a lot. Can’t wait to meet you again soon
