Tomorrow I head to San Antonio to begin what I hope to be an amazing adventure until January 29. \240Bags packed, house cleaned out, storage unit full and we are off...

All these bags are going!

Stressed is not a word I would use to describe my anxiety level at the moment. \240I can’t lift my suitcase. \240One of them is packed beyond capacity. Had to go buy two suitcases to repack it so I can roll it. The dogs are freaked out and out of control. \240Even my service animal does not know what I want him to do which is my fault!

My solution, retail therapy for the last time until I return in Janusry. \240Don’t know how I will make it but I have done enough in the past month:)

Now I am relaxing at Longhorn Steakhouse waiting on my friend Ronny. \240I threw my eating plan out the window today. \240Our trip had finally begun! Next stop hotel, back to Kerrville tomorrow to pickup rest of luggage and park the car. \240

Zany travels is ready to get someplace permanent!!

Yes, that is my luggage for tomorrow. \240Goodbye Kerrville and I will be back in January. \240Was glad to spend the day with Debbie and Brian before leaving. \240I have amazing friends here in Kerrville and I will be back!! Tomorrow I am leaving the day up to God. \240Only he can figure how I get all this luggage checked in plus two dogs! Will be glad to get there

So the crazy story of MX begins. \240Our trip took us 24 hours to get here. Left San Antonio at9:00 on 8/4 and very uneventful except for the three hour delay. \240The dogs were checked in without any issues. No social distancing on the plane. \240I was glad I flew first class. The plane was packed

The nightmare started when I stepped off the plane in MX City. \240I was greeted by this little man with a wheel chair. He offered to take me wherever, I really did not know but took him up on his offer . \240Glad I did. \240First stop immigration, my temporal Visa was expired. \240No problem, went as a tourist, Next stop check on Dakoda and Shiloh and let the nightmare begin...Got them all checked out and headed to security and nope they did not like something on the dogs paperwork. Back to the pet center we go, head to security but by this time missed the flight.

Off to AeroMexico we go to get a new flight. We got a new flight for 8/5 at 7:00 am. \240Mom says get a drink and find someplace to hunker down for the night. \240In Mexico City airport, I don’t think so. \240AeroMexico put me in a 5 star hotel and gave me dinner, breakfast and lunch, \240I had nothing with me in the way of clothes or toiletries. \240Nothing open.

On 8/5 Dakoda woke me up. I was supposed to be at the airport at 5:00am. \240I set my alarm for 5:00am. \240Thank goodness I woke up at 4:30. \240Off we went to start the process again. \240Boarding pass in hand, I still had to go through same process with dogs as I did on 8/4. \240Finally get to the terminal and sit down. \240Time to board and I wen through Sky Priority and was walking to the plane, oh my I forgot Dakoda. Back we went into the terminal and got my hands slapped because I did not go through proper channels lol:)

Finally arrived in Guadalajara and tracked down my 7 bags Had two gentlemen help me and of course they had to do a baggage check:) I have 9 bags for one person with carryon . \240Finally I see Francisco and off we go. \240I have never been so glad to see anyone in my life.

I get home and I am not long for this world but nope not going to happen. \240Attorney said I need to come to his office to straighten out my Visa. \240Off to the attorneys office we go. \240Finally was able to crash at 1:00pm today.

I put God in control and that’s the only way we made it all in one piece. \240Poor Dakoda was totally confused. Every time the little man stopped the wheel chair Dakoda went under it and we had a heck of a time getting him out.

On the flip side MX City is doing everything they can to reduce the spread of the virus. \240My dinner last night came covered with Saran Wrap and temp checks at hotel and all through airport

Has not been a great start here. I was left at the food court by our driver. Finally got picked up and brought home.

Today, decided to walk to my friend Yves restaurant for breakfast. \240Great breakfast and great scenery. \240See the pool for my view at breakfast.

From there Dakoda and I walked to the photo gallery for pictures. \240On the way I started getting really sick, \240After pictures I was looking for a restaurant to get something to drink. Found a restaurant and got something to drink but it was awful because I was so sick!

Next stop was the Scandinavian Bakery. I stopped there and decided I did not need anything. \240Turned around to leave. \240Between the mask and my sunglasses I could not see and missed my step. I fell flat and had to call the driver to come and get us. \240Meanwhile, the Gardner helped me up and got the doctor to come bandage it and she loaned me a walker.

Mom shows up and off to the hospital for an X-ray. \240Good news is it is not broken. \240I have to stay off of it all weekend . To have it xrayed and the office visit, $35.00 and what doctor gives you his cell phone number

That was my day today. \240Now I have to stay off it and get lots of rest all weekend

Foot is finally starting to heal but is very bruised. \240I have had to stay off of it. \240I have everything unpacked and put away México is not giving any concessions to the Corona Virus and not being able to travel, \240My temporal Visa expired onn7/31 and they won’t renew it. \240If I want one I have to go through entire process a third time in SA. \240My feeling is I am not doing that. \240I only plan on being here 6 months a year anyway. I will stay on a Tourist Visa and leave every 6 months. Screw it and it’s more trouble than it’s worth and no reason for it. \240That’s what I am doing. The other 6 months will be split between Italy and the US.

Frustrated is just the beginning of what I feel at the moment. \240So my solution is get out of the house and enjoy the day in downtown Ajijic
