May 20, 2022 we landed in New York about 8:15 PM. Mikey picked us up from the airport and sister dinner at Tony’s on the east side not too far from our hotel. After dinner Mikey dropped us off at the Renwick hotel which is on East 40th and Lexington Avenue near Park Avenue where we still are staying for four nights.
May 21, 2022, we are visiting the 911 memorial. We are waiting for Mickey who was a police officer on 9/11, is going to give us a tour of the memorial area and I think we’re going to go see the museum. This is an amazing place. The sun is out there are lots of people some wearing masks Some not. The pools are quite some thing considering the size of the towers at the time and it’s very moving.
