Introductory HAIKU:

Love Peetim Homestay

Give back thru Teaching English

Singburi Thailand

I was fortunate to stay at Peetim Homestay in Singburi, Thailand from June 2016 to November 2017. Singburi is approximately 2 hours north of Bangkok right off the Asian Highway, easily accessible by bus and minivan (if you dare:))

Peetim provided a room, in my case a private bathroom and shower, three meals a day including snacks and a wide variety of side trips. The cost was 4,500 baht per week, approximately $150 US at the time.

Peetim provided opportunities to volunteer teach English at a variety of local schools from Kindergarten to High School to Government Offices to Police Departments to adults at the library and classes with students at the Homestay.

View from balcony of my room for quite a while until they mowed down the papaya trees and corn and leveled the area for flooding and planting of rice. There are photos and videos of this later in this Journo.
