Hey friends! I’ve decided to start a travel journal for those of you who are interested in seeing what I’m up to while here in Europe. Be prepared for many blog entries and pictures!

Starting the day off with a campus tour. Here’s the beautiful Founders building!

My first legal drink!! Also going to try bangers and mash tonight!

Raspberry and Rhubarb Cider.

Today I went into London for the first time and it was AHmazing!! I saw the London eye, Buckingham Palace, the National Gallery, the London Tower, and the Tower Bridge. (On a side note, I always thought the Tower Brigde was really the London Bridge. I was so ready to play London Bridges walking over it 😂). Unfortunately, the House of Parliament and Big Ben were under construction, so I didn’t get to see much of those. Everyone in London is so nice and the architecture is BEAUTIFUL! I also tried the OG fish and chips, which was delish. The birds are absolutely wild and fearless. Also, the guards don’t wear red! I can’t wait to continue exploring around London and Europe!!

Classes started today!! Although I’m definitely not ready to be back. I had my first class, The Birth of Film, this morning with a French professor (I could be wrong about that, but he sounded French to me), and it was pretty interesting! The class was two hours and then I was done for the day (: The way classes work here is very different than back home meaning I’ll have a lot more free time, which I can definitely get used to. I also found this really cool place on campus called Imagine; it has bubble tea (my fav), bubble swing chairs and extremely large beach chairs (check out the pics to see what I mean). The whole vibe of the place is really cool and chill. I’ll definitely be spending more time there. That’s all the excitement for the day! \240

Started the day off with some Microbiology followed by a 4 hour lab that I finished in 2 hours! I forgot how much I actually like bio lab (well compared to chem lab which is just out right awful). BUT the real highlight of my day was getting to play some football, aka soccer ⚽️⚽️⚽️ I miss playing sooo much and it felt good to be back on the field (or pitch as the British say).
