We slept in a bit this morning and had breakfast at 8:45. After breakfast we packed up and headed towards (enter place here) with a few waterfall stops and a castle tour in Stone Haven along the way.
A little bunny greeting is this morning. Kristi almost stuffed this in her bag and ran.
Kristi enjoying her breakfast.
Quick selfie on the trail.
Beautiful waterfall location. In the creek along the way there were tiny little trout swimming.
A random girl was taking our picture. I couldn’t help but laugh because she was taking almost 40 photos.
Some shenanigans by another waterfall.
It was so beautiful in person. The hike down was pretty steep but worth it. There was a small patch of an island right in front of the waterfall with a perfect view. I definitely had the urge to touch it.
Riley being adventurous (and good looking) crossing the river.
These cows look so happy!
Some guy just pulled his lobster crate from his boat and let us have a look. Kristi happily let them know we just got done eating their brother.
Finn and grandma dying by a mini lighthouse
We stopped at another castle. This one was really exciting! We got to walk all through it, read facts, and explore a ton of different rooms. My favorite part was looking at the prison areas and reading the stories behind them. There was a lot to see. Many of the roofs were gone but a few buildings we’re intact.
Finn waving bye bye to a tractor he thought was the coolest thing ever.
After the castle we stopped at another waterfall location.
The seagulls here are fat
Kristi captured a seagul mid landing.
This is the castle well. They found a sword, some cooking pots, and a few cannonballs at the bottom of it.
Well, that explains itself.
Grandpa and Finn playing the rocks while mom and dad explore.
Grandpa picked up his heavy stone too.
Finn and I playing in the ricks. Finn was losing his mind. He didn’t know what to do with all those rocks.
Riley and looking at what we thought were jellyfish.
They made it to the waterfall.
