Today was our first sleep in day on the trip and thank the lord as it was much needed. We were allowed to sleep until 11 as we didn’t have class. After getting up chiara, pheobe, Tara and I finally to go to this sushi/Asian place we had eyeballing called itsu which is a British healthy fast food chain. I ended up getting chicken udon noodles and they were pretty good. The restaurant ended up being in westgate mall so of course we ended up doing some shopping before heading back to meet the group. I ended up buying a orange bikini for Calvin Klein which I adore. We then walked back to campus as we had a museum tour. We split into our classes and went to a certain museum based on our class so the ancient civilization class went to a museum while the math classes went to the Oxford Pitt rivers museum. The museum was quite neat actually we saw lots of taxidermy animals, old games, dinosaur bone and shrunken heads which were the highlight of it. We then headed out and I ended getting a chocolate banana milkshake from this little food truck and it was the best milkshake I’ve ever had. We then headed back to the mall to finish some shopping and I bought a super cute pair of mom jeans from river island. We then headed out to turtle bay for dinner with everyone which is a Jamaican style jerk restaurant. We had ordered our meals the night before so I got the jerk chicken flatbread which was decent and then for dessert we got mini “donuts” which were more just like dough and weren’t very good. We now had the option of free time for a couple of hours but I was feeling so tired so I decided to call it an early night and go to bed instead. Tomorrow we head to London and I’m very excited for that.
