Arrived in Madrid 🤣😎🥰
Walked around Malasaña - went to El Tigre
Visited palacío reál
Tried tinto de verano (Spanish sangria)
Enjoyed dinner at El Pimento Verde (#1 artichoke in the world (for Amanda))

Day 2
Woke up early and drove to Sevilla (5hrs)
Had tapas y cerveza at El Rinconcillo
Walked around Sevilla
People take siesta seriously in Sevilla
They come out for Churros when the sun sets
Rooftop overlooking the Cathedral de Giralda
Pizza jamón íberico y rucola
Had another tinto de verano for good measure

Day 3
Woke up for a Spanish breakfast
Coffee, OJ and jamon
Drove to Cádiz, with our first stop at the Mercado Central de Cádiz
Tortilla de camarones
Walked around town
This is the Cádiz cathedral
Headed to beach, but left phone at home 🏖
Walked around town and tried different restaurants for dinner

Day 4
Going to the next beach! Stopped at Playa de Bolonia on our way to Tarifa (Spain’s nicest beach)
A bull ran across the grass into the parking lot being chased by a dog. \240
Upon arrival to Tarifa we checked into our hotel and went up to the rooftop pool
For dinner we drove into town for a shared dinner with new friends. James enjoyed the food 🥘 Stopped at the beach for sunset.

Day 5
Today we walk again on the beach, but first stop at the grocery store for a cheap croissant and ice coffee.
Now, head out on a drive to our hiking spot
After hiking for 20 minutes and getting lost in country roads. Let’s try to find lunch.
We finally found the perfect location and sat down to enjoy a nice late lunch. El Mirlo
On our way back to the hotel, we chilled from our sea front room to watch the sunset.
A lite dinner in the city led us to the following!

Day 6
Time to head out of Tarifa and go to the mountains of Ojén.
After a little coffee, we get in the car, drive to a cloudy view point and arrive in Puerto Banus very hungry.
A quick walk and bite, visit Saad in Marbella and we surrender to the mountains.
Welcome to our new home in Ojén.
What a lovely time, with home made tinto de verano by James.
We have to visit Marbella old town so we head there for dinner.

Day 7
Good morning Ojén, we love you 😍
Beautiful place, let’s go hiking.
After getting lost, finding 5 euro, and hungry we call it quits on finding the peak.
Let’s find brunch
Jamie’s favorite meal. With a quick very quick tour of Malaga (12minute Amanda tour). We are off to Nerja

Day 8
Wake up in paradise in Nerja. The mountains on one side and the ocean on the other, what better place could we be at?
Such a good place, we might not move all day. In fact, we didn’t just once to the ocean.
At night, after a restful day, let’s try paellA
We got only chicken, very lucky!
We also visited the Balcón de Europea in Nerja

Day 9
Time to head back north to Madrid.
With a morning chilling by the ocean
A lunch in Grenada
And a 5 hour drive, we are back in Madrid!

Day 10
We thought today’s the day to culture ourselves.
Went visit two museums
Then had a nice brunch
And went meet up with some of amandas MBA friends in her favorite park
Almost broke 30k steps
