so far, we have travelled to capri (amazing beautiful 10/10) naples (ew scary not fun) cinque terre (love) pompeii (very interesting)

capri was a hotel disaster and peyton and i hotel hopped and then snuck into the airbnb for the last night , but the island was my favorite place i had ever been. very luxurious (and expensive :/) we did a boat tour, had amazing seafood, and floated in the med sea!!! (verrryyy salty) there was a natural waterfall shower and luca pulled his boat under it!!! the island was verryyy hilly and there were lots of stairs to get to and from anywhere (especially the beach/marina) we spent one night hanging out with these guys on their company’s boat! also, i went to the very top of the island on the chair lift! it was so cool but it was so cloudy at the top i couldn’t see down. we also had to go to sorrento to get on the boat tour because we got confused. sorrento was very pretty and i got a big hat!!

naples was an experience. it was disgusting and creepy. the girl at mcdonald’s threw up on my feet. there was a huge mafia presence and the taxis would take u to mafia operated locations on purpose. we had dinner at san carlos with luigi who was amazing. we didn’t make it back for the cooking class. (we took a ferry to capri from there)

pompeii was super cool!! it was very hot but i was impressed with how technologically advanced the people were thousands of years ago. our tour guide was hilarious!! (almost bought a dirty apron from a guy because he kept screaming at me “honey honey come spend your money” and i thought it was so funny)

cinque terre was a fun day trip! grace and i went with two other girls from the program (emma and emma) and we took a bus from florence. it was very fun but kind of rushed! the beach was so so fun!!!! and the views were insane!!

leaving prague now :( i loved it here!! would 1000% come back! nightlife is amazing, the city is beautiful! we climbed 287 steps to the top of the Prague Castle Tower, saw an incredible church, did a river cruise, went on a drunken monkey pub crawl, tried schnitzel and hookah!!

the pub crawl was awesome! i met so many cool people from all over the world (a girl from south africa and a bachelor party from ireland)

we also toured terizin. it was a concentration camp and jewish ghetto. it was very sad to see but i learned a lot.

grace and i spent the night in rome fater prague!! we had a really good dinner at some hotel and i tried beef tartare (kinda nasty)

we went to a fruit stand for breakfast and then went on a big bus tour!

we walked around outside the colleseum and had lunch!

we saw some cool stuff but ultimately it was so hot we ended up getting and earlier train home to florence. also the hotel was weird and was like an airbnb w some creepy man at the front lol

went to dinner w emma emma peyton and leah and finally had a florentine steak!!!

leaving for amsterdam! we had some funny experiences in the airport this morning… the first flight to munich was also so incredibly terrifying (tiny plane)

we got to \240amsterdam and checked into the hotel, had lunch (pretty good) and went on a canal cruise and to a script concert! we went to dim sum for dinner!

we also saw a movie being filmed from the canal cruise (looked like bridgerton but who knows).

today we started with the heineken tour! we also learned that uber is not reliable in amsterdam… saw the rijksmuseum from the car!

the heineken museum was cool! on the walk back, i got a wooden tulip, a waffle, and tried amsterdam cheese! i also went to the flower market and got a wooden tulip.

there was a protest going on in the street for something about education grants…

later i went to a coffee shop, met some cool people and the owner is amazing!

sunday was super boring, just stayed in the hotel mostly and ordered kfc for dinner.

monday was very fun! grace and i went to the van gogh museum, a delicious lunch place, a cool art gallery, and we biked around the giant park in amsterdam.

flight through frankfort to florence, we ran through the airport to make it!

saw stefano bremers workshop today in class and had a very yummy dinner with peyton and grace!

just landed in barcelona! lots of friend time today! we had aperitivo with molly justin peyton grace and preston. then we went to the airport and peyton was given a standby ticket… luckily she got on the plane and all is well!

first day in barcelona! peyton and i went to the market and on a party boat! we also went to el club verde!

grace i stuck in florence because of the transportation strike :(

we tried to go to opium but the line was so long (even with tickets) so we went to a hookah lounge instead. we got driven home by a man on a bike!

today we had a late start to the day…

we got a delicious lunch at crape diem and hung out by the hotel! also got a super yummy waffle cone and peyton got wok to walk for dinner!!

second day in barcelona!!

the market was closed so we got breakfast at dunkin, then we went on a bus tour of the city qnd the beach! we rented paddle boards and went tubing. peyton headed to the airport and i checked in to my second hotel…

the hotel was nice but its definitely super lonely… i had duck for dinner and it was decent. there is a spa and gym too!

solo trip to como!

day one i decided to stay on the train and go to switzerland. i took the funicular to the too of lugano and it was beautiful! then i went back to como…

it rained the first day but i got to see the church in como which was very cool! i uber \240eatsed dinner and relaxed in the hotel!

day three i took the ferry to belagio! in belaggio i went to a hotel rooftop and walked around, it was beautiful. i also went to see a very old church. then i took a train tour around the peninsula and met a nice couple from vegas (they said the belaggio was the same lol). also i learned that the word villa comes from some old dudes wife (he named his house villa after her).

spent the day in milan today!

did a hop on hop off bus tour and saw the city. it was very comforting and reminded me of new york!

supposed to go to valencia today but there was a disaster with the strikes at the airport :(

we watched the fireworks from emma’s parents’ airbnb for st. john the baptist day!

molly and i spent the night in rome! the hotel was beautiful and we befriended the bartender at the rooftop bar! we saw the collegium and the forum and we had very good food! i went on a long adventure looking for a gold bracelet but still haven’t found one :(

yesterday we went on a chianti wine tour!! met some very fun people and drank lots of good wine!! we also got bottle service at YAB for graces birthday!

last night!

off to the airport hotel, gonna miss florence but excited to be in america!!
