We have not left yet..only 3 days remaining and I have 2 days of work left. I cannot believe that I will not be working for and I will have such quality time with the kids to enjoy their company and experience fully without any interruptions of work, meetings and stress. Allhumdulliallah for the opportunity which I know not everyone gets. All the shopping is done- and suitcases are more or less packed.

Safiya and I went to get our nails done. She wanted purple glittery nails \240and I got hot pink for my pedicure. She later told me “Thank you Ami for taking me to get my nails painted” :)

Last day of work was June 7th! 1 day left before we leave! Packing all done but I feel like I am forgetting something…I have been taking it so easy and casually.

‘‘Twas the night before Europe and all through the house, the kids were all stirring and awake in their beds. Ami, we are leaving tomorrow they said, meanwhile

On our way!! Atlanta to Frankfurt. All settled in to our seats - the kids are excited (especially to see TVs on the back of their seats)

Starting the trip in Stuttgart - Weekend at Zohaib Chacha and Farisha Chachi’s!

We chilled out yesterday since everyone was tired from the flight and trains coming from Frankfurt to Stuttgart. Arrived around noon and the city is super cute! 🇩🇪 It is large city with beautiful historic buidings and plenty of shopping and food.

Friday 6/10 - we enjoyed a delicious fried chicken dinner at home. \240

6/11:

We walked downtown Stuttgart, stopped at a cute candy store where the owner was very passionate and nice to the kids. We walked through an antique market, grabbed some lattes and snacks and did some shopping.

We went to a cute traditional German town a half hour from Zo’s. It was called

Beautiful architecture from 1800’s

Brightly colored motorbikes parked in the cobblestone alleys

And a lovely view of the town…

We arrive in Paris!! The train ride was a comfortable 2 hours in a first class car. The kids enjoyed it and best of all took naps to have some energy for the walking.

We ate the infamous French Crepe, visited Bastille and Eiffel Tower at night.

We are staying in an Indo-Pak neighborhood which is funny but everything is accessible by bus/train. Our Airbnb is a tiny one bedroom apartment and have a bakery nearby where Safiya got her first French baguette from France!
