Our first two weeks in sunny Florida were a success - lots of family and friends time! It was weird to be in shorts on Christmas Day but so nice to be able to be outside and enjoying our friends and family.

Tallahassee RV Park was the perfect location to be close to friends and family.

I enjoyed working from the RV park for a few days with the sun shining through the tall pine trees and live oak trees.

It was so awesome to see how much Jack has grown and spend time getting to know him. A smart, active boy!

Back to cooking outside in the evenings!

Our little outdoor Christmas decor!

We found Santa at Bass Pro Shop!

❤️

Jason and Ely took the kids zip lining at the Tallahassee Museum one afternoon.

Grace wasn’t tall enough to join the big kids on the higher course but she still got to do some obstacles and zip lining.

Tennis at Tom Brown Park

The BMX track was replaced with a pump track at Tom Brown Park. We spent a few days here as the kids loved riding this track.

Cousins ❤️

Jason took Jackson, Gabe and Emma fishing one morning.

It was very windy. Jason said it was like watching the three stooges trying to fish. 😂

While Jason and the big kids fished, Grace and I rode bikes while Ely jogged.

Another afternoon, Jason took the kids to Urban Air

Jack and Rae came to visit our home. Jack has a serious “cheese” face!

Rae and I did some holiday baking at her house before Christmas.

The kids had a great time decorating and eating

Grace had to improvise and use a toy golf club for rolling out sugar cookies. Guess Rae will be getting a rolling pin for her next birthday! 😂

Uncle Jason trying to get Jack to do the Seminole chop. Jack does not look enthused!

Yum! Raw oysters! One night we had dinner with Rae and Tommy.

We had many laughs! Loved spending time with these two!

❤️

Another night we felt brave enough to take these kiddos to the Melting Pot

It was a long dinner with good company so we enjoyed ourselves!

I don’t think Grace is buying whatever Jason is telling her 🤣

So much food! Delicious!

Candlelight service on Christmas Eve

We went to see the new Jumanji movie on Christmas Eve ❤️

Racket is still hanging in there! I think he likes the warmer weather too!

Santa found us at the RV park!

Kids seemed to enjoy their gifts!

Racket loved the frosting on his bone shaped cookie

Video - Jackson has asked for a hover board for a few years now - guess Santa thought he was old enough now

Grandpa Malcolm is the biggest kid I know - the kids love hanging out with him.

One of my favorite gifts! Thanks Rae!

Unwrapping gifts at Grandma Nise’s house

Grace loved her jewelry from Grandma Nise!

A mom and son moment ❤️

Ely and I took the kids to this trail one afternoon

Kids biked while we walked/jogged (not sure that was a good idea - they’re pretty fast on their bikes!)

Playground close to the trail

Smurf village along the trail

Art lab on the trail

Grace left her mark

So did Ely and I! ❤️

Sunsetting on trail

Successful trail adventure!

Emma and Jackson cruising the neighborhood on their hover boards

Another visit to Tom Brown Park - so sunny! ☀️

We spent one afternoon at Hangar 38

It’s an indoor arcade and bowling alley

Family tomb raider!

Family Mario Kart! I always lose in this game!

Jack loved this motorcycle game

A little family bowling - Jason kicked our butts!

Our last night in Tallahassee - we celebrated Mema’s 94th birthday!

Grace with cousin Taylor and her daughter, Cam

We will miss Grandma Nise, Grandpa Malcolm and Jack so much!

Jackson and Jack playing with dough while we waited for our food.

My other favorite Christmas gift - Our magnetic map for the RV to track the states we’ve visited. Three more weeks to look forward to in sunny Florida!
