Canterbury to Shepherdswell
It is kind of strange to be walking to a destination that you have no need to go, but here we are. \240
We started the day with a nice breakfast of eggs bacon sausage and blood pudding.
After the breakfast we started off and out through the gates of Canterbury. \240Somehow this didn’t feel like the beginning of a pilgrimage as expected but rather a silly detour. \240
After the gate we wandered the streets through some traffic and into some fields. \240The warm air was tempered by a soft breeze that made beautiful waves in the grass. \240
The day ended with wonderful reception at the Goats Beard. \240Charles and Ellen greeted us with a nice cup of tea after we’d done the shower and laundry thing. \240
