We got lucky and getting through security at DIA was a breeze. A new development during Covid is that you can bring a beer right to your gate. We ended up being to our gate just over 2 hours early so we had plenty of time to chill and wait.

Made it to Canada and through border security! Getting through was a breeze. The border agent asked us what the purpose of our trip was, where we’re going, how long we’re in Canada, and if we brought any food. (half of that big suitcase. Lol)
Got Lisa & Edie’s bag and headed to Milena & Fede’s! Took less than 30 minutes to get out of the airport after landing. It’ll just be a 20 minute cab ride to Milena’s.

Spent the first night of our trip at Milena & Fede’s! They fed us delicious soup and the cats snuggled with us overnight. Floki came in and out of the room but Meatlug slept on the bed with us all night.

Got to spend the day with Milena and Fede! They took us all around Toronto. We started our day with free bagels. Then, we walked to a Christmas market. These pictures are all the cool things we saw along the way.

After the Christmas market, we wanted to visit a brewery so we tried to take the train there. We had like 3 minutes to do a walk to Union Station so we missed the connection but it was cool to see Union Station.

Milena and Fede took us to Henderson Brewimg Company. There was a really good food truck parked outside that was Latin American with a plantain theme.
