Makapu‘u Point Lighthouse Trail

The trail to the Makapu’u Point Lighthouse is 1.5 miles each way, but it is paved and stroller friendly. \240It’s quite a hike uphill, but there are several lookouts on the way up to catch your breath, and the view from the top is totally worth it!

View from top

Though we didn’t see any the day we were there, this is suppose to be the best place on Oahu to view humpback whales from December through February during their mating season.

Pearl Harbor

Anyone from the US who has the opportunity to visit Hawaii needs to go to Pearl Harbor and pay their respects. \240So much history here that needs to never be forgotten. \240

Oil still leaks from the Arizona. \240Only 3 survivors from the Arizona still live. \240The last that has chosen to be interred with their shipmates in the Arizona was interred this past December, 2019. \240
