We started our trip on May 3rd 2021 heading to GA for shocks and steering stabilizers to be put on our Daybreak MH at Safety Plus. First night was spend at Eagles Roost RV Resort in Lake Park GA. A nice resort, but not much to explore. Matt spent 2 hours scrubbing love bugs off the MH while I supervised.

Second night at Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park in Bremen GA. We had terrible storms for most of the night at Jellystone so stayed n motor home watching TV.

Then on to Tallapoosa GA to Safety Plus. While waiting we visited with another couple from the Tampa area. They originally lived in Albany NY but now are full time FL residents. They also are on their way out west but for a 6 month trip.

Our job at Safety Plus was a success and Sheila is now a happy driver with very little wind resistance.

Our next stop was at Parnell Creek RV Park. A very old park but nice. Unfortunately it is right on the highway (Route 72), so we did not sleep well with all the traffic. Had a nice evening, a bit chilly but the sun was shining. Sheila made shrimp and left over veggies for dinner.

Now to this morning, slept in then had a nice breakfast with a leisurely morning. Off to Cory and Bill’s new house in Harvest AL where we will set up in their driveway for a couple nights.
