I was able to use the new Delta One facility here at DTW that only opened a week ago! Silly me forgot to get pictures. \240Guess I’ll have to do it again!!!

Well 30 min to boarding 15 hours to China.

Ok yes. I will be nerdy now. Boarding a Delta Airbus 350-900 fully loaded for a 15 hour flight. You know what this means…TOGA Full Power takeoff!!!!

I guess while your flying 15 hours across the world at 34,000 feet in the sky. Let’s enjoy it.

No better way to start the suites experience than a nice glass of Krug bubbles!!

Yes I know your wondering where my geekyness went. Well it’s back. We are on a Airbus A380. The world’s largest aircraft with 2 full stories. This plane is only certified to land on certain runways and taxiways. Did you know the tail of this plane is as tall as a 7 story building. Since we only going for a 7 hour flight, we will not be full TOGA takeoff but with the sheer weight of this plane probably 90% N1 power.

I guess after all that energy to get this mighty plane off the ground…time to relax and have some fun!!

Of course as always another amazing experience.

Unfortunately this bed was a little to comfortable and fell asleep again. Tried to stay awake but Singapore Suites got me again.
